About the Company
FX Clothing is an established wholesaling business (25 years) and over the past number of years it has shifted its business focus to include retail, as a risk management strategy. It operates two retail based businesses selling own brand suiting and outerwear from Balbriggan and Dublin 2. Additionally, it trades online as Dorian Black http://www.dorianblack.ie/, selling men’s formal clothing such as wedding attire, black tie tuxedos, suits, shirts, and accessories.
This FUSION project will differentiate FX Clothing from competitors and transform it into an innovative fashion brand. It seeks to create contemporary new designs, whilst honouring Irish heritage, to bring a unique new product to the American market; realized through innovative pattern engineering, and contemporary and authentic fabrics to convey Irish tradition. Aimed at two target markets: Irish Diaspora overseas and tourism a 2-tier strategy of made-to measure and customizable ready-to wear will be developed.
