Empowering Women Entrepreneurs
In February 2024, the Irish Government announced €800m of funding for Shared Island priorities, including €30m towards the establishment of a new Shared Island Enterprise Scheme developed by InterTradeIreland, Invest Northern Ireland and Enterprise Ireland.
An element of this scheme is dedicated to fostering women entrepreneurship on an all-island basis. The first stage of this work involves funding for early pilot activities to be delivered on an all-island basis to help inform future programmes.
We are currently inviting Expressions of Interest for eight programmes. These programmes are being delivered by our partners: Women in Business and Network Ireland, Alinea, AwakenHub/AwakenAngels, and TechFoundHer. Once we have received an Expression of Interest, the delivery partners will be in touch with you to fill in an application form.
You can express your interest in any programme from Monday 9th September. Please see the individual programme pages for their respective Expressions of Interest closing dates.
