About the Company

RIVVAL is an engineering and supplies company to the railway industry. The company supplies signaling equipment i.e. display signs and level crossings. The company also supplies permanent way i.e. movement equipment, sleepers and lighting as well as supplies operations and traction and rolling stock products. The FUSION project involves the development of a bespoke lifting hoist to assist maintenance workers changing a hydraulic unit stored in level crossing pedestals. This will involve examining current pedestals, designing concepts, producing finalised design, manufacturing and testing of the lifting hoist.
