About the Company

Financial institutions and vehicle manufacturers currently fund independent and franchise motor dealers with new and used vehicle stock. These are called stocking loans and are asset loans against specific vehicles. This is currently undertaken by representatives of both financial institution and vehicle manufacturers, who make regular surprise visits to each dealership to physically view each vehicle that is currently active on their stocking loan to ensure that the vehicles have not been sold. The financial institutions would like VMS to develop an automated vehicle watch system that effectively monitors each of these stocking loan vehicles and sends instant alerts to the financial institution and vehicle manufacturers when any of these vehicles have been sold. VMS will charge a subscription to financial institutions and motor dealers for each vehicle check and alert.
