InterTradeIreland launched the first in a series of cross-border trade events in Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise on Tuesday 17th October 2023. With a focus on cross-border regulation and employment, the event provided an interactive forum to help businesses get the answers they need to support future cross-border trade under the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement and the Windsor Framework.

Mavarick and Neurobell announced as winners of InterTradeIreland’s Seedcorn Munster Final
Winners of the InterTradeIreland Seedcorn Investor Readiness Munster regional final have been announced as Mavarick (Best New Start), and Neurobell, (Best Early Stage). The winners were awarded €20,000 each and will advance to the All-Island final in Dublin on the 9th of November.

Smoother start to Q1 for businesses but cost issues and the skills squeeze persist
InterTradeIreland’s latest All-island business monitor reveals the mood music among businesses is pointing to a solid start to Q1 2023, as the number of firms reporting they are on a stable footing hits a four year high, at 55 per cent, while 36 per cent are reporting growth. A third of businesses are optimistic about sales increases in the next 6 months.
