What is it?
We help scale cross-border collaboration through Synergy, using cluster development supports to enhance programmes benefiting both Ireland and Northern Ireland. Synergy leverages clusters to solve common problems and identify joint opportunities. We support new collaborations between the right cross-border partners to find pathways leading to economic benefits for both regions.
Who is it for?
We're primarily looking to support schemes in the life sciences, bio-economy and advanced manufacturing / materials sectors. However, we are also keen to get involved with projects from any sector that results in embracing Industry 4.0 technologies, aids in the transition to a low-carbon economy, or increases the productivity of SMEs.

TCI Annual Global Cluster Conference
The TCI Network’s 2025 Annual Global Cluster Conference is coming to Dublin from October 14th-16th as a joint all-island initiative between InterTradeIreland, Invest Northern Ireland and Enterprise Ireland under the all-island clustering strand of the Shared Island Enterprise Scheme.
“Clusters: Sustaining a Global Open Economy,” will explore how governments, businesses, universities, NGOs, and individuals can work together to tackle big global challenges, and how clusters can act as catalysts and key drivers for economic transformation. Key themes such as the impact of clusters on FDI and how clusters can help to address skills gaps will be on the agenda.
