Neil O’Brien worked for a bank for 22 years and then decided that it was time for a change. In 1998 he joined the gig economy and has since become Ireland’s most requested conference speaker on the topic of mental fitness and human potential. He is also a business and executive coach and works at C-suite and senior management levels.

Neil’s most requested keynote talk is – Mental Fitness – the practice of building capacity to cope, perform and thrive. This talk covers mood management, habit management, effortless resilience and a clear sense of direction, purpose and meaning.

His clients include Accenture, AIB Bank, Apple, Bank of Ireland, CarTrawler, Citi, Coca Cola, Deloitte, Diageo, Energia, FBD, Google, IDA, IBEC, Irish Life Health, Kainos, KPMG, Lidl, Meta, NTMA, Salesforce, Twitter, Dept of The Taoiseach, Dept of Education.

Neil has also in the past coached elite and professional sports people on their mental fitness and has worked with Ryder Cup, Walker Cup and Curtis Cup golfers, elite athletes, Davis Cup tennis players, the GAA, and the FAI.

He was also the first coach to be regularly featured on Irish television and contributed to such programmes as Open House, The Health Show, The Health Squad, The Mentor, The Clinic. He has also delivered many radio talks and slots on the above topics.

Recently Neil received a wonderful response when he premiered his one-man-show Time To Fly! to a theatre audience. He is also a published author and his debut book Time To Fly is published by Kindle and Amazon.
