Dermot leads the Controls and Infrastructure Investment group at Genzyme/Sanofi in Waterford, with over 25 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical sector. With an academic background in electrical engineering, he has specialised in Capital Investment throughout his career in Sanofi, leading projects that have expanded capabilities, supported innovation, and enabled sustainable growth within a highly regulated environment.
Over the past two decades, Dermot has played a pivotal role in shaping the strategic development of Sanofi’s operations in Waterford, helping to deliver state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure to meet evolving industry and patient needs.
