Seedcorn 2019 Regional Finalists

Eight companies on the Island of Ireland will be €20,000 richer after the regional finals of InterTradeIreland’s Seedcorn Investor Readiness Competition taking place in early November. The winners will then progress to the grand final on the 28th November, where they will compete for €50,000 or €100,000 as either category or overall winner.

Seedcorn is the island’s biggest business competition for innovative new start and early stage businesses in any sector. As well as a substantial cash prize fund, participants benefit from support and advice from top investment experts, business planning workshops and an intensive one-day investment pitch masterclass facilitated by InterTradeIreland.

Speaking about the regional finalists, Shane O’Hanlon, Funding for Growth Manager at InterTradeIreland said: “I’m delighted to offer my congratulations to all those who have reached this crucial stage. The regional finalists have been successfully chosen based on their submission of their business plan and visual representation of their business idea. The standard of entries was very high and we look forward to seeing how the competition progresses.”
