Greater Opportunities for All-Island Cluster Partnerships with Launch of €800k Cluster-to-Cluster Project Development Fund
A new €800k fund that will support clusters across the island to collaborate and solve shared challenges has officially launched and is now open for applications.
The Cluster-to-Cluster Project Development Fund, delivered by InterTradeIreland in partnership with Enterprise Ireland and Invest Northern Ireland, is part of the Clusters and Networks Initiative of the Shared Island Enterprise Scheme, funded by the Government of Ireland.
The fund will support high-impact projects between clusters across the island of Ireland, North and South, that will help solve industry-led challenges, and deliver measurable business value, shared learning and all-island economic impact.
Funding available for projects ranges on scale from €30k to a maximum of €250k. Projects should tackle a range of areas or challenges facing industry across the island, such as skills and talent, supply and value chain, adoption of new technologies or early-stage pilots. The projects must deliver tangible benefits to businesses and provide collective benefit to both jurisdictions.
The Cluster-to-Cluster Project Development Fund will encourage all-island, cross-border collaboration and knowledge sharing among cluster organisations, helping to spark innovation, competitiveness and growth. By supporting new initiatives and partnerships, the fund will strengthen the island’s innovation ecosystem and contribute to economic growth across the island.
Applications for the Cluster-to-Cluster Project Development fund are now open and will close on 17th July at 1:30pm. For more information on the Cluster-to-Cluster Project Development Fund, click here.
