Margaret Hearty is the Chief Executive of InterTradeIreland. Established under Strand 2 of the Good Friday Agreement, the organisation plays a distinctive role in identifying and connecting all‑island economic opportunities for businesses, policymakers and stakeholders.
InterTradeIreland has a strong record of delivery, having directly supported more than 61,000 businesses, with thousands more SMEs benefiting from its specialist advice. It is uniquely positioned to lead all-island collaboration to drive trade, enhance competitiveness and productivity, and accelerate enterprise growth across the island.
Margaret is an experienced Business Leader. She has worked in leadership roles in economic development for over two decades, coupled with extensive experience working directly with businesses and entrepreneurs.
Margaret is a business and marketing graduate and holds an MBA.
