Overview

Through Island Marketing Clinic, Cormac Austin works with SMEs and micro-businesses across strategic planning, marketing, cross-border trade, and market development. An EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council) practitioner, he has 15 years’ experience supporting small businesses across the island of Ireland.

Cormac is a current mentor on the UK Government’s Help to Grow programme and has also worked with various enterprise agencies in Northern Ireland and LEOs in Ireland. He has been an InterTradeIreland-approved consultant since 2014, delivering consultancy via multiple programmes including Trade Export Pathway, Elevate, Emerge, and the Trade Accelerator Voucher scheme.

He has completed assignments with ROI-based businesses and LEO clients such as Clinton’s Crisps, The Sweet Potato Pizza Company, and Maisha Coffee (Ballybay Food Hub), along with tech start-ups like Yala and Athena Analytics, and other SMEs in craft, design, manufacturing, and engineering. He is an active ISME member and passionate about helping Irish businesses on both sides of the border grow and scale in the all-island economy.
