Overview

Over the last 25 years, Gary has been heavily involved in preparing for, managing, refining, winning / losing / gaining feedback and learning from bid submissions as well as supporting companies to navigate & succeed in winning business in the public sector and from large organisations.

Gary has worked with clients across a wide variety of sectors (both on a one-to-one mentoring basis and through group workshop delivery) in best practice bid writing / winning business from large organisations. He has won numerous major contracts both for businesses he has worked for and on behalf of client companies that he has worked with, whilst providing a blueprint for winning bids.

Gary has been delivering public-sector tendering related workshops on behalf of NI Councils and has "rolled up the sleeves" in working with individual client companies across areas such as:

  1. The procurement market in context: outlining the extent of potential tendering opportunities.
  2. ii. Identifying tender opportunities: finding, signing up to and setting up alerts for relevant tender opportunities.
  3. Tender road mapping: the importance of proactively identifying & targeting relevant decision makers.
  4. Bid / no bid: selecting the appropriate tenders to bid for through a structured decision-making process.
  5. Writing a winning tender: identifying the key tenets of tender writing & what evaluators / buyers seek to find.
