About the Company

The Main objective of this project is to review the current business Contract to Cash process and design, install and configure a new bespoke Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to suit the Smiley Monroe business process. This will include the development of new business processes and customised extensions to the ERP system to cater specifically for the Smiley Monroe production process. This will allow the company to effectively and readily expand into the North American market, control its current markets and support its subsidiary business unit in India. The unique needs of Smiley Monroe will require considerable configuration and extension to ensure maximum benefit is returned, which an ‘off the Shelf’ system cannot offer. The extensions to the off the shelf system will include advanced reporting, multi modal interaction and optimised data input. The new processes will:

• Standardise the management of inventory
• Improve factory planning and scheduling
• Reduce costs
• Improve the effective use of staff time
• Allow expansion of the business into the North American market
