Project Description
The project will develop and deploy an automated manufacturing system for medical devices which form a key part of Schivo’s regular product’s. The current manufacturing is dominated by hand assembly supported by Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines. The project will examine the current manufacturing practice and introduce Automation to rapidly replace the current manufacturing methods. These complex manufacturing and assembly procedures will require acute expertise to ensure success. The development of this automation system will allow Schivo to address market needs in a much shorter time, increasing potential for market penetration and manufacturing flexibility.
