HR Interventions (HRLocker) is a People Management SAAS provider and a human resources consultancy company offering services to some of the biggest clients in Ireland include Ryanair, IRFU, IBEC, Brown Bag Films and Tyco Electronics. The main business involves providing a HR suite of software applications in the areas of Holiday/Absence management, time sheets, documentation, application tracking and employee management. HRLocker has identified an opportunity to develop a new internet based software application for HR Management. This new application will provide additional features such as providing APIs (Application Programming Interfaces). This provides further opportunity for sales as the current closed application does not provide the flexibility for growth. This software application will be built from scratch as a mobile first, cloud first and user centered designed application. The new version will be built in an intuitive manner with user input regarding usability and external system data considerations. As this new product will be a user centered application HRLocker require the newly developed software to include innovative GUI (graphical user interface) elements which will allow its users to interact and navigate the software through the use of intuitive graphical icons and visual indicators, instead of typical text-based user interfaces used by HR Locker’s competitors and HRLocker’s current closed application. The nature of this product will allow for direct manipulation of the graphical elements making the software visually appealing and allowing for accessibility and an overall improved user experience. In terms of front end design HR locker aims to create a software with a unique visual design and visual communication elements which will make the world of HR management simpler, sleek and more efficient. This unique blend of effective visual communication and a highly responsive data tracking will grant HRLocker a competitive edge over their completion and a product with highly profitable potential.
