The objective of this FUSION project is to design and produce a system with a customized printed circuit board (PCB) which can be used on compressed air driven advanced drilling units (ADUs) to control the number of times a drill bit can be used in order to eliminate potential drilling issues – a “shut-off” system. This type of product doesn’t exist to machine operators at present and will solve a daily problem that faces every machine and enables preventive maintenance.
