Kelsius is the leading supplier of automation technology for product safety and compliance to the food services and healthcare industries. Using wireless sensor technology and cloud based data hosting and processing, Kelsius systems improve product safety, ensure regulatory compliance and optimise costs associated with these activities Storage technology has evolved over the recent past. This project will investigate this to find a more appropriate and efficient storage solution. Once agreed, data processing software will be developed to take advantage of this new storage solution. Software Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) will also be designed and implemented to query temperature records from this new data storage technology and allow backward compatibility into Kelsius’ existing customer web portals. A new reporting system will be implemented to take full advantage of the increased speed of data storage access, to respond to new customer reporting requirements. This will ensure Kelsius stands apart from the competition. This will also increase potential market targets, by providing compliance, to respond to various legal requirements enforced country by country.
