Company Description

Braidwater focuses on the development and construction of homes to both the public and private sectors, with sites predominantly located throughout Northern Ireland. The business also has property interests in England and Romania. It is currently constructing a small private scheme in Derbyshire, and is advising on the development of two large land holdings in Romania owned by a related family company.

Project Description

This project will facilitate the creation of a virtual communication environment (VCE) via virtual/augmented reality. This will allow the company to adopt and exploit opportunities afforded only by the introduction of new digital technologies and in turn drive streamlining and optimizing communication; thus, minimizing errors, omissions and increasing quality and performance within their operations. Ultimately, the aim of this project is to design, develop and embed VCE which will significantly improve communication between head office, construction sites and external stakeholders however this project will also result in the development and embedding of in-house 3D CAD competencies.
