AE Global was founded in 1994 and has grown to employ 110 people to service clients in the UK, Ireland and overseas. They cater to clients on an international scale covering a variety of specialist industrial sectors including: Petrochemical, Oil and Gas, Water, Power and Pharmaceutical. The main business of AE Global is pipe fabrication and installation on-site. However, they have diversified their business in recent years to provide electrical installation and other value-added services

Project Descripton

This project will involve the development of a bespoke quality management and project data analysis tool. AE Global has been using a largely paper based system for resource planning and has recently started integrating software applications, databases and spreadsheets. This software solution has not scaled very well, it is inefficient and does not meet the requirements of their current business. Therefore, a new bespoke system will provide an opportunity for AE Global to expand the business due to efficiency time savings as quality packs which will be automatically generated. This system will provide real-time analysis and provide predictive analytics.
