Maeve Monaghan is the leader of NOW Group, a social enterprise dedicated to supporting people with disabilities and learning difficulties in securing jobs with a future. Under Maeve’s leadership, NOW Group has significantly expanded its reach and impact, transforming lives across Ireland.
The organisation has grown to support thousands of individuals through innovative programs and enterprises, including the globally recognized JAM Card (“Just A Minute”), which enables people with invisible disabilities to discreetly ask for patience in everyday interactions. Another cornerstone of NOW Group’s success is Loaf Catering, a thriving social enterprise that combines high-quality food services with on-the-job training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
She received an MBE in 2022 and won the Exceptional Leadership Award from Women in Business. Additionally, she was shortlisted for the Not-for-Profit Leader of the Year at the 2024 Business Post’s Leadership Excellence Awards. Maeve chairs Clanmil Housing Association and previously chaired Give Inc and the The Community Foundation for Northern Ireland.
