Clare Ryan is the co-founder of ITUS Secure Technologies. She is on a mission to help small business survive the threat of cyber-attack by ensuring they can access fair priced cyber insurance. The company has been bootstrapped to date but is now ready to close their pre-seed round.
Clare holds a MA in Governance, Compliance and Data Protection in Financial Services in addition to her BSc (Hons) and PhD and is a certified Data Protection Officer. As a proud Derry girl, she is often seen flying the flag for women in cyber. Despite being early on their journey, ITUS has secured numerous national awards including Zurich Innovation Champion for Ireland, Seedcorn regional winner and most recently the NCSC Cyber Den winner.
