Overview

Rebecca is an experienced Consultant who helps SMEs to grow their business both in their domestic markets and in export markets. She has worked with companies directly and also through public sector programmes, delivering one-to-one mentoring (both face to face and remotely), interactive workshops and market research with regards to tendering. Since joining Core Consulting in 2016 Rebecca has developed her public tendering experience across a wide range of sectors including ICT, Digital and Creative Services, Health and Life Sciences, Engineering and Environmental and Renewables in NI, ROI and GB.

Rebecca’s in-depth understanding of the tendering process enables her to work as an effective part of any SME’s tendering team; from taking a lead role in developing winning responses through to mentoring team members and bid managers to improve their success rates in the future. She works alongside team members to understand their experience of tenders in the past (both good and bad), the process that they currently have in place for finding and responding to tenders and to assess areas that can be improved in their tendering strategy.

Rebecca specialises in the following areas and has mentored SME’s in each of these throughout her time with Core Consulting:

  • Identifying tendering opportunities;
  • Reaching a bid/no bid decision;
  • The Bid Management process;
  • Developing and maintaining a tender document library;
  • How to write a successful tender response; and
  • Reviewing responses or feedback from unsuccessful tenders in order to improve strategy in the future.

With a proven track record of delivering both tendering successes and valuable mentoring support, Rebecca is able to assist SME’s from a variety of sectors to develop their tendering strategy and improve their internal processes to achieve a greater rate of success when bidding in the future.
