Overview

Damian is an experienced bid and tender mentor who has significant expertise in supporting a wide range of SMEs to grow their businesses through developing and submitting winning bids in NI, ROI & GB (including cross-border bids). Prior to his consultancy career, Damian was Head of Managed Services for Capita Business Services with responsibility for leading on tenders and bids across the UK & Ireland.

Damian has also delivered on cross-border tendering support for the past 20 years (Training and Mentoring) supporting both NI and ROI companies to secure cross-border tenders. This experience has included the following roles:

  • Bid Manager for Consortium bids;
  • Bid Manager facilitating the development and submission of bids;
  • Bid Mentor offering guidance to companies on how to improve their bid processes;
  • Member of bid teams responsible for completing parts of a bid;
  • Bid Editor – Reviewing all parts of bid submissions and providing feedback to bid teams.

Damian has also managed and delivered successful tendering programmes (Training and Mentoring) for cross-sectoral as well as sector specific programmes assisting companies in the following sectors (Construction, Food & Drink, Engineering, Aerospace, ICT and Professional Services).

His sectoral experience includes:

Utilities, Health and Pharmaceutical, Defense & Security, Education and Consortia Facilitation and Bid Submission.

Damian’s qualifications and training includes: Masters (MA) in Marketing, BA (Hons) Marketing, C.I.M. Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, Export Marketing Diploma, Accredited Trainer in Dimensions of Professional Selling.
