InterTradeIreland has just marked 20 years of promoting cross-border trade and business development across the island and looked forward to the challenges the coming decades will bring. Thanks to everyone who attended and joined us in our celebrations. It was a unique opportunity to bring together key individuals and companies that have played a part in InterTradeIreland's success over the past 20 years.
In relative terms we are a small organisation, but we have had a big impact. Since our creation, we have assisted 42,000 businesses in Ireland and Northern Ireland to explore cross-border markets, develop new products, processes and services and to become investor ready - as well as supporting the creation of 16,000 jobs and generating more than €1.3 billion in business development value.
A special thanks to Minister Heather Humphreys and DfE Permanent Secretary Noel Lavery and to our partners who took part in the panel discussion - Frances Ruane, Stephen Kingon, Tim O’Connor, Mark Ferguson and Feargal McCormack.
As we look towards the next 20 years of supporting and growing cross-border trade and business development, InterTradeIreland will continue to deliver strategic outcomes based on our core values, which encapsulate the ethos of and the way the organisation relates to our stakeholders. #ITI20
