Advice and support ranging from £2,000 - £5,000 / €2,250 - €5,625
Our Business Solutions Voucher provides 100% financial support ranging from £2,000/€2,250 up to £5,000/€5,625 (inclusive of VAT) towards professional advice to help businesses navigate the current economic climate. Support is available in the following categories, Bespoke Customs Training, Business Strategy, Innovation, Cross Border Employment and People and HR, Finance, VAT, Customs, Data, Regulation, Supply Chain Mapping and Logistics.
1. Are you eligible?
To qualify for financial support your business must:
- Be located on the island of Ireland (North or South)
- Trade across the border (NI/ROI)
- Employ less than 250 employees
- Have an annual turnover of less than €50m (sterling equivalent)
- Have a satisfactory trading history (18 months). We reserve the right to request submission of financial accounts.
Note: There are certain exclusions in line with specific State Aid guidelines, such as primary agriculture – please contact the Business Solutions team at InterTradeIreland for further information.
The voucher is provided under the European Commission Regulation on De Minimis Aid or if applicable in accordance with Minimal Financial Assistance as detailed in the UK Subsidy Control Bill. The business must provide InterTradeIreland with details of all other De Minimis aid received in the last 3 years and if applicable the amounts of any subsidies received under Article 364(4) Minimal Financial Assistance of the subsidy control chapter of the TCA in the current and 2 previous accounting years. It should be noted that a false declaration by a business resulting in the threshold of €200,000 being exceeded (or £315,000 Minimal Financial Assistance) could later give rise to the aid being recovered with interest.

InterTradeIreland will inform you of the assessment panel decision within 10 working days.
If approved for the support you will have 1 month to choose a Service Provider from our approved panel and submit a completed Terms of Reference. Full details will be provided by email.
Failure to comply with these timeframes means your application may lapse and you may need to reapply.
If however, your application is unsuccessful, you may appeal the assessment panel decision. The appeal should be submitted to InterTradeIreland by email within ten working days of notification of the original panel decision. In your appeal, you must directly address the reasons why your application was rejected and provide the information requested on any other issues identified by the assessment panel. The appeal will be considered at the next scheduled assessment panel meeting and you will be notified by email of the final decision within five working days of the assessment meeting.
