Winning Tenders through Social Value
From 1 June 2022 public sector bodies in Northern Ireland must now allocate a minimum of 10% of the total scoring to four specific social value criteria. In public sector tendering, the margin between wining and losing can be small; these changes could be the difference between winning and losing.
Whether in Northern Ireland or Ireland, it's no longer enough to make aspirational statements about being a good ‘SME citizen’ or ‘corporate citizen’. To score well on these new award criteria, you have to spell out very specific actions that are being taken to deliver real social value and deliver specific positive impacts on communities and stakeholders.
This short webinar on Tuesday 31st May 2022 will answer some critical questions:
- How is Social Value being defined in public procurement?
- Does it apply to all public sector tenders?
- What does this mean for SMEs?
- How can small businesses meet the social value criteria?
By attending this webinar you will be in a better position to respond to these new criteria.
The webinar will be delivered online via Zoom. Registration is essential.
