About Professor Keith Goffin
As a business school professor, thought leader and consultant, Keith's primary area of interest is innovation management. He researches the ways in which companies are trying to boost their output of innovative products and services and applies the results of this research in his teaching with MBA students and executives, and in consulting with selected organisations. His portfolio of research is all conducted with Stockholm School of Economics.
What fascinates Keith is the number of companies that say they want to become more innovative but fail to take the right steps to achieve it. His consulting and research areas are:
- Identifying corporate growth opportunities (through new products, services, and new business models)
- Breaking-down barriers to innovation
- Identifying customers' hidden needs -- new methods for market research and developing breakthrough products and services
- Knowledge management in R&D
- Managing new product development
- Creating a 'culture of innovation'
